I have designed freehand and graphic flyers, bound books, and tinkered with design software since the early 90s, when the iconic computer was called “Macintosh.” Although I identify as a policy wonk, I am first and foremost a creative.I’ve been lucky enough to serve as a creative director –overseeing all things marketing & communications related– and in an individual contributor capacity when necessary. Below is a sampling of my recent work that showcases the breadth of experience I have in the creative space.(set 1) Healing Holistic Wellness: Brand Kit
Healing Holistic Wellness is a Los Angeles-based practice that provides effective healing methods that align and strengthen the Body, Mind, and Energetic Vitality (Chi). Through the use of acupuncture, targeted neurofeedback, guided meditation, and holistic wellness techniques– including breath work and embodied manifesting– clients undergo a transformative and balanced healing experience. In July 2023, Healing Holistic Wellness owner, Tueykay, asked me for help with creating a brand kit for her business. She had an existing logo created by a different designer but needed a more comprehensive Brand assessment and guide created for her business as part of a longer-term rebranding plan. The branding services for Healing Holistic Wellness included a branding audit, market and client research, strategic consulting, along with a curation of color palettes, typography, and brand elements.• Healing Holistic Wellness Brand Kit (note: logo provided by owner)(set 2) Global Virtual Summit: Beyond the Horizon
